About:
Melissa Melia Dunn, Registered Psychotherapist, works with clients to explore root causes and build practical tools for real, lasting change. She uses a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach, integrating Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and trauma-focused CBT. Her work supports clients in understanding their pain, identifying triggers, building internal safety, and reconnecting with an identity beyond limitations and challenges.
Melissa also draws on a systems approach, recognizing that our relationships with others are key to sustainable healing. She helps clients strengthen their relationships through tangible communication skills, boundary-setting, and clarifying needs and values — all with the goal of creating more supportive and meaningful connections.
With lived experience navigating endometriosis, adenomyosis, motherhood, and the fast-paced corporate world, Melissa brings deep compassion and a grounded understanding of complexity. She approaches each person with curiosity and respect, always honoring clients as the experts of their own healing journey.
